How a Cashman Check Cashing Kiosk Works
Every transaction takes under 2 minutes. The customer does the work. You collect the fees.
Customer Selects Language
English or Spanish interface displayed on touchscreen. The customer initiates the transaction at their own pace.
Customer Inserts Photo ID
Dual scanner reads: driver's license, state ID, military ID, school ID, green card, or temp license.
Customer Inserts the Check
Check must be endorsed (signed on back). Scanner captures a digital image of the front and back.
Real-Time Verification
Cashman's central system cross-references the check and identity against fraud databases and transaction history. Decision made in seconds.
Fee Displayed & Accepted
Customer sees the exact fee amount on screen and accepts or declines. No surprises, no hidden charges.
Cash Dispensed
Kiosk dispenses cash (minus fee) from the built-in bill dispenser. Transaction complete.
Remote Deposit & Reimbursement
Check is electronically deposited into Cashman's bank account. Your store account is reimbursed weekly via ACH (or sooner for amounts over $5,000).
Operating hours: Kiosk active 7 AM–9 PM daily. Outside those hours, an “After Hours” screen is displayed automatically.
